Reached kinda late. By the time we were there, everyone was boarding the bus. Kinda fast cos no need to wait. My kinda way of travelling. Bus left early n promptly on e dot. Managed to load my bag to where i wanted.. hehe.. Liwei sat beside me. Bus was packed cos we had to share bus wif ITE Tampines.
Our road trip to KL began which marked the start of my misery. Haha.. Well glad tat there would be stops. Asked Miss Low if there would be stops etc.. hehe.. Didnt go to the toilet b4 we left.
Finally after few mins, We arrived Singapore Customs to check our passports. Didnt need to lug our bags with us.. Thank God. After clearing the passports, we headed back to the bus and then continued to Malaysia Immigrations to clear malaysia.
Wen we were entering Malaysia, i was looking at my phone to see if i got reception.. Well as expected, my reception got cut off. so yea.. Finally reached Malaysia and wen to the immigrations.. haha
Guess wat? Liwei's photo wasnt updated so the officer asked her to see his superior. While Liwei was making her way to Office, the officer shouted to his superior something abt e passport. Automatically i knew she was in for shit cos he said something abt her documents having some problems.
Knowing how they would handle such matters, i literally tossed my passport infront of e officer. Of course he starred at me.. But do u think i cared? Fuck man. I didnt. hehe.. Attitude. Of all the countries i have been to, tis in e onli country i showed attitude to the immigrations officer.. I jus didnt bother.
It was raining.. so yea.. By then, our bags were wif us cos we had to change to a Malaysian Registered Bus. It was raining so had to run n out my bag. For tat split second wen i was doin my bag, i felt i was like the cargo officer.
Wen i boarded the bus, the back of my shirt was kinda wet cos wen i bend to put my bag, the water frm the cargo compartment dripped to my back. then i wen back to wiat for Liwei. As expected, she got fucked upside dwn my the immigrations officers (verbally tat is). Wen i saw her come, i ran dwn to the bus to help her wif her bag.
She was pissed n started bitching loudly abt wat the superior said to her.. haha.. All i could do was jus stand and let her bitch cos she was really very pissed.. haha.. Well we began our trip to Malaca first for Lunch at some country club.
WEather was nice to slp but of course i didnt slp cos i wasnt used to it. The weather was like raining at one area then e next was raining n at one point, Could see the clouds.. hehe n it was cold n i liked it alot.
It was nice. AFter some, we stopped for a toilet break n tis time i wen to the toilet. The first toilet i went to was at the Malaysia Immigrations. And the second stop was my second time. Liwei was coughing.. Guess she wasnt well.. hehe
WE opened the cargo compartment to store our stuff. I took the water bottle out and kept my goodie bag.. Soon after, we began our trip to Malacca. In malaysia, Malacca was spelt as Malaca.. Well anyway, the country club was like an hour so so frm where we were..
Soon, we arrived. Frm afar, the country club looked kinda nice. But as the bus moved nearer n nearer to the country club, it looked kinda old.. haha.. Alighted frm the bus and headed into the Country Club. Soon lunch was served. the food kinda sucked! Those who were older said they can compare the standard wif the army cook house.
Mind u they said tat cook house food was better. haha n the dishes kinda sucked. WEll there was one prawn dish tat was nice.. Si Chuan Prawn. hehe.. not bad.. but the rest yucky. The rice kinda looked like porriage.. haha..
After our terrible lunch, we headed off to Putra Jaya.. Tat was quite a drive was abt another 3hrs.. Off most of them were.. to dream land tat is.. I was kinda restless AGAIN.. WE had to pass state after state.. so long!! My ass really hurt man. but thank God i survived.. hehe
Finally after the long drive, we arrived at Putra Jaya.. it was nice. Its like u see all the Kampung areas n all then suddenly, KAZAM! U see a very "futuristic" area/district. Was nice.. Frm here, i could see the Ex-PM's vision but on the other hand, it looked kinda out of place.. then the quarters, no many pple were living there. tat was one of their problems..
Alighted n took some pictures. And bought some sourveniors. hehe Spent like RM30 i think.. not forgetting chewing gums.. hehe.. Did take some pictures. and abt an hour later, we headed to Kuala Lumpur!! Couldnt wait.
The trip was abt an hour or so. Haze wasnt tat bad. Upon reaching KL, Miss Low said she saw the Petronas Twin tower. The twin tower was made of Glass n Stainless Steel so tat they don have to repaint it watso ever. I asked Miss Low is they had cement n all.. like usual stuff to make a building.. N yes there was.. the internal structure tat is.
For tat moment, i was like a foreign exchange student.. haha.. I saw the Kuala Lumpur tower first. n told Miss Low tat it was the KL tower.. she didnt really believe then the tour guide said tat it was the KL tower n i was right..
Reached the hotel after so long!! Crown Princess n not Crown Prince. But it was 5 star.. The room was nice! I had a bath tub and a shower corner wif glass door. hehe then bed was queen size..Best of all, part of my room, could see the Petronas Twin Tower!! haha.. I was bunking in wif Ball btw.... hehe
Of course he would take up most of the space wen we slp... I was so super excited tat i dunno wat to do. Wen i unpacked, i was so excited tat i was lost. haha WEll excited bcos i survived the bus trip mainly.. hehe.. WE were given like few mins to go to our rooms to freshen up and then had to go to the ballroom to have dinner.
The food was kinda ok lah. At least can eat lor.. hehe.. While we were having dinner, the Hotel Manager was briefing us abt wat to do if there is a fire or an emergency.. But we were all most interested in the food then to listen to him yack.. haha
AFter dinner, we had to gather cos we were going to KL Towers!! hehe.. But then they said we had had like onli 45mins to shop.. So we all in Bus 2, decided tat we would go one round the KL tower for e view. MInd u it was like 200+ stories high n could see the Petronas Twin tower frm there.. .. hehe
WEll yea. AFter seeing the place, we took the lift dwn n rushed to our coach. Thereafter, off to Petaling Street in China Town we went for our shopping.. hehe.. Wen we reached, the coach stop us somewhere abt 5mins walk to Petaling Street cos the coach was too big.
So yea we alighted n started shopping.. hehe.. It was so crowded!! Liwei, Charlie (frm TP ITE) and i wen to tis "shop" wanted to buy for mummy an LV bag then charlie check the thing for me. N it was gd. So yea. then i asked Liwei n Charlie if it was part of the LV collection. they said no.
I didnt wan it. The guy didnt wan to let me go. So i said "i need to think abt it" n he said "common give me ur price" n he offered RM95 n e actualy price was RM100 n obviously i didnt wan it. so yea.
I kept telling him i would consider till he got pissed n tossed his calculator n the floor. I jus left. hehe couldnt be bothered. Liwei n Charlie, stopped by tis shop to buy some pastries n stuff i didnt cos i didnt know wat to buy.. so yea. haha
Finally, i bought Mummy a Prada Bag (grade B) and it cost like RM50 so yea i got it. Then i looked for a sweater for myself. Found an adidas one which was RM45 n Charlie managed to bargain it to RM40.. hehe
Didnt have much time. so had to leave.. Everyone bough shoes n clothes n stuff. i didnt buy shoes n i wan the onli one who bough the handbag.. haha funny.. hehe.. Well we headed to the hotel.. and showered n stuff..
Felt like a handicap without my HP. So wen to the 7Eleven to buy a Prepaid card which cost RM19 bucks which had a RM10 value inside.. so yea.. Rushed back to my hotel room and started fiddling wif my phone n all.
Called Mummy n GRace n could sms!! hehe well had to be mindful of who i call n the duration of the call.. so yea. WEll after ironin n settling my calls, i took my shower.. Couldnt really slp so chatted wif Gina a friends whose room was beside mine.. hehe
Chatted till like 0230 n abt 0220, Mr Christopher Leow, did his spot check n saw us n yea he didnt scold cos it wasnt wrong.. He said "I trust Bishan n Tampines students tat y i didnt check their rooms"
Tats for me was a great achievement cos for a Staff to trust students i think it takes a lot of bonding etc.. so yea.. hehe well wen to slp n tat was the end of Day 1..
Day 2: Life in KL n getting
Was suppose to wake up at 7 n meet Liwei for breakfast at 7.45am. Ball woke me up n i tot it was still early so i wen back to slp. Woke up at 8 cos the door bell kep ringing n so yea. Realised i was late!!
Dashed into e toilet and shower.. No time to do poo poo.. After tat i was rushing to change n stuff. Then Mdm Wee, came to our room wif a hotel staff. Cos they saw our room very dark. Liwei said the 2 teachers, Miss Low and Mdm Wee tot we got murdered in our room or something.
Wen Mdm Wee Rang the bell, i woke up. n had my towel on onli.. haha then Mdm Wee was relieved.. hehe.. Well Ball n i rushed dwn after we were done. N still saw pple strolling into the ballroom.
Miss Low saw ball ball n i. Infront of the TP students, she shouted at us for not picking up the call n all.. Kinda got pissed. Previous night, i didnt put dwn the phone properly.. hmm well maybe i deserved it n could sense tat Miss Low was worried n all.. But still she was kinda harsh..
Was kinda pissed. The programme still wen on. I tell u the speakers were so BORING!! the second speaker was better. haha. AFter tat we had tea then we were asked to change to our casual wear.
Went for our Brain Dancing session (brain storming), quite interesting.. shared stuff abt my IOC n all.. haha then had lunch. AFter tat i had to present. along wif another guy frm TP.. well the lecturer who chaired the sesssion was kinda impressed..
AFter all tat, we wen to the International Youth Association. I tell u the Person who welcomed us was so shabbily dressed n sloppy.. n was so BORING!! Wen for a tour arnd the place.. i tell u it sucked!! haha
WEn back to the hotel after the boring trip.. The others wen to very cool places.. unlike us.. they wen to shopping centres.. Therefore sometimes being very good also no gd.. haha.. Headed back to the hotel and had to be dwn mt 7pm cos ball wanted Liwei n i, including a few others to sit wif some Malaysian Uni students frm UPM in Putra Jaya.
So yea. showered n preped up.. Wen dwn to pick our seats. Crystal (frm MP) was at our table too.. Everyone was very nicely dressed.. all but her. she didnt bring nor did she buy.. so yea. Soon our guests, the UPM Students frm Putra Jaya arrived.
Shortly after their arrival, dinner was served. We had our soup of the day first followed by appetizers which was prawns n salad n the salad smelt rotton.. maybe bcos of e wine vinergrette.. AFter which was our main course. I had chicken so we had tis thingy wif garlic rice.
Quality was so so lah.. While we had our main course, the programme for the night began. It was a dance my tis indonesian Uni.. dunno frm where also.. haha then was our ITE talent quest!! wow it was nice!! Central (my network) did very well..
But before tat, they showed a video to all teachers n facilitators.. haha.. Miss Low n Mdm Wee saw Liwei n I. Cos we represented Bishan haha.. Miss Low teared. haha.. Was an Appreciation Video.. haha
WEll after all the fun stuff, the results were out.. Central won!! haha.. Then there was dancing.. Ball, Charlie n WEi woon (frm TP) grabbed me n carried me to the middle n said "u're not running anywhere" haha.. actually i was.. haha.. WAs so embarressing.. some of the teachers were starring at then carring me.. haha..
Ok i did dance. but haha.. not for long.. AFter tat, went back to the room.. the rest wen to Zouk n party.. Ball n few others wen to buy beer frm 7Eleven n I was left alone in the room.. Packed my stuff to come back to singapore..
Was super tired.. Had my shower n Liwei came over for supper.. i bough maggie.. hehe AFter tat she wen to her room. I was wearing my FBT shorts n it was so freakin cold. AFter tat i lied in bed n watch Discovery Channel abt the Construction of the A380.. n i jus knocked out.. haha
Ball came back n then he made the room cold n then he took off his shirt n wen to slp.. tats the end of day 2..
Day 3: Leaving for Singapore (Home Coming)
MOrning was good.. Could see the mornig sun.. Took some pics frm my room. Woke up early at 7.30 n wen for breakfast as planned. Met Liwei at the LIft lobby n wen to Cafe on the 10th for breakfast.
WEn the teachers saw me, they asked if i slp the previous night.. Well i did but was tired due to the packed schedule. WEnt on wif the day's programme after breakfast at the ballroom.. WAs the closing ceremony.
Enjoyed the presentation. but then over run alittle. So i rushed back to my room to do some tidying up.. Balls stuff were all over the place. I dunno how to pack for him.. Called Liwei to help me..
Jus dumped everything into his bag pack.. so yea.. AFter we were done i check if we left anything out.. Gd thing everything was ok.. haha.. Headed to the lift lobby n waited.. had to wait for so long n mind u balls bag was heavy!!
After so long, was there a lift. n it wen Up n Up n dwn n finally to where u wanted to go. the ballroom.. haha.. Had lunch there.. n saw ball.. pass him all his stuff n he wen to the rm to change etc. n she final check the rm.. all was clear.. all our things were wif us.. hehe
Kinda sad to leave. Miss NOrlida, my Emcee teacher in charge of grooming me, gave me a card. Nearly wanted to cry.. my eyes were all so watery.. :'( Really sad to leave n sad tis had to end.. Well had to standby to leave. Wen to the toilet for a final piss.. mind u the toilet so sticky the floor.. the guys there need to be tot how to piss properly.. haha
We were finally given the green light to go to our bus. Wen to our bus. n said our goodbyes.. sad sad.. Finally on the road back to since. 4hrs on the road frm State to state frm Kuala Lumpur to Yong Peng at it was 1615hrs. Stopped at Yong Peng, Lucky Gardens where we bought our local goodies.. WEn to the toilet b4 we left..For the first lake of the trip, i was slping i think but after tat i didnt.. hehe
Were suppose to leave at 1645 but then heard that one of the buses broke dwn.. Think was coach 6.. so yea.. Waited for further instructions. and was later given the green light to move at 1745 hrs.. Time was 1805 since we are back on the road.. Kinda near Singapore..
Really wan to thank god for tis trip, Protection n helping me control my bladder on the bus. Saw some familiar spots n tis meant tat we are reaching Singapore!! haha.. Good thing we don have to change bus like wat we did wen we wen tot KL. The bus we were on was suppose to go to Clementi MRT Station n NEwton Station. But then Bus 7 n bus 2, we planned to go like. Bus 7 would go to Clementi whilst Bus 2 would go to Newton. so not so troublesome.. so yea.. tats wat we did.
At Singapore Immigrations, we switched bus lor.. i didnt have to.. But either which, we had to get everythin off the bus we were on.. so yea. The malaysian tour guide said tat no chewing gums were allowed n i had like 30 sticks.. haha
Was kinda scared. WEn i saw the scanner they had at the airport, i was ready to open my bag to let them check.. thank God wen my bag wen in, the police didnt say anything.. hehe. was cleared.. n Am finally back in Singapore!! hehe.. but sad too..
For the last few days, my malay accent all jus came out n maybe it reminded me of Brunei?? Well didnt while i was in Malaysia, didnt really talk much abt home (singapore.. haha and now having to go back, kinda really not used to it..
I mean aside frm calling mummy n grace, i was so used to malaysia lor minus the air n the water.. haha.. O remember the bus tat broke dwn? Another bus was on its way to fetch those pple on the bus. hehe..
The bus finally reached Newton n we got off. Steve (liwei's bf) fetched us n we wen to Bedok for the famous Ba Chor Mee!! hehe.. n had the Tang Yuan there.. n wen home to unpack n all.. so yea..
WEll tats a wrap up of my Student Seminar 2005 Trip to KL.. was fun.. so yea.. hehe.. Will upload the pics sometime later.. hehe.. toddles
