Well jus got back like at 10?? Wen to a friend's house to stay for e night. Parade was very nice. We had rehearsal.. It was gd e energy and all were there. After months of conplacency, i finally mastered e steps.. I was so happy wen i have able to do the steps yday..
Though it was like a very short pre-parade segment, I was still very happy cos its was like after months of hard work, u finally get to show it to all but it will also be the last. Haiz. Indeed all good things must come to an end. But it was indeed fun.
Seriously, i wouldnt mind coming back as a volunteer next year cos i really did enjoy myself. So far i think my partner n i, we are were like firing e confettee guns like almost every preview n all right up till yday. It was like one of e main highlights for me.
Last night i sorta did cry.. haha while everyone was like partin dwn at e floor, few others n i helped e NS guys wif e clearing of umbrellas and all.. though it was boring, but i still like doin wat i did last night. No regrets watsoever for not dancing at e dance floor.
The army pple themselves were like trying to get everything over and done wif and of course if u work in a grp, u would get wat needs to be done done. So tats wat we did cos they needed to like seal of e area and then af ter tat clear e stuff so we ourselves had to leave. Again i was sad to leave e whole place but yea. haiz
Well while we were rehearsing, e groud really smelt of dung. And it was like VERY wet wen we were rehearsing so wen we stepped on e ground sheet, everying was like squirting out and it was jus yucky. However come afternoon, e weather was hot n sunny something all of us wanted n again we were all complaining abt e weather.. hehe
Wen it was e actual thing, everything wen well of course e soil was soft n some mud were still squirting out.. so yea. Then all went as per normal.. However, during e first fly past, wen e 3 F16s flew past, e whole structure where i was, was moving i mean u could literally see e whole thing move. I tot i was e onli one to feel it, but i check wif my other friends, we all found out tat it did move.
Maybe e soil was soft maybe it was giving way.. But either which somehow we were all on our guard cos tis has NVR happened since e first preview. Hmm thinking back i do and will miss all e gd time n though training we went thru to make yday a big success cos it was indeed very rewarding.
I mean i didnt get to make my side crazy but then e performance was gd i was so engrossed n amazed by e whole thing.. I jus wished i could turn back time n relive ydya.. haiz.. well i gotta rest now.. kinda tired..
